Start by researching the program's roster and contacting David Anderton (Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach) with your UTR rating, tournament results, and video. Most NCAA Division II recruiting starts sophomore or junior year of high school.
Typical recruited players at this level sit around UTR 6.5–9.5 (girls) and 9.0–11.5 (boys). Those are typical roster bands, not cutoffs — coaches recruit the whole player, and walk-ons can sit below the band. The most honest benchmark for Northwood is its current roster's level: ask the staff directly.
Scholarship rules differ by division: D1 and D2 programs can offer athletic scholarships, D3 programs offer only academic/need-based aid, and NAIA/JUCO programs have their own aid rules. Ask the staff what is available for your recruiting class.
